As an ordained minister, I have been officiating weddings in the Chicago area for the past fourteen years. I have married couples in a variety of settings including hotels, country clubs and churches and have written a wide range of ceremonies including traditional, non-denominational, inter-faith, and civil and commitment ceremonies. As your wedding officiant, I will meet with you; get to know you, then design a ceremony that is unique to you. I am available to officiate in any setting in the Chicago and greater Chicago area.

My fees vary between $300 and $600, depending upon the type of ceremony, rehearsal participation and travel requirements. A custom ceremony including an initial consultation, written personalized ceremony, and rehearsal coordination typically costs $600. 

I enjoy officiating for weddings. I grew up in a small town and weddings were the only source of social events in our community. I enjoyed the anticipation, the pomp, the music, the solemn vows and the celebration. I feel it's wonderful that as an adult I get to participate in an event I enjoy so much!

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Charleston Southern University, in Charleston, South Carolina and a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. I was ordained in 1992. I have served as chaplain at hospitals in Louisville and in Little Rock, Arkansas and as a street outreach minister for The Night Ministry in Chicago, Illinois. I have served as minister of music in several churches and as minister of St. Paul's Community Church in Chicago. Currently, I am a member of Unity Church on the North Shore in Evanston, IL where I serve as a chaplain.

I have been a wedding ceremony vocalist since 1977. As a tenor, I have sung for ceremonies in South Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas and Illinois. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina. I have sung with many choirs and choruses including The Kentucky Opera Chorus, Wildwood Opera Chorus, Arkansas Symphony Chorus and L'opera Piccola and I am a soloist with The Botti Opera Showcase. I have also appeared in a variety of musical theater roles including: "Jud Fry" in Oklahoma, "Tevye" in Fiddler on the Roof, "Emile" in South Pacific, "Ruben" in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat and "Mr. Bumble" in Oliver. Currently, I am a voice student with the Velia Botti Studio in New York.

I am available to sing in wedding ceremonies in the Chicago area. I sing a variety of music from classical to pop. Fees start at $200.
